

You will notice that most white teas have a more delicate taste. Among our favorites are Silver Needle and the Bai Mudan varities. Since these teas are more delicate and lighter in weight, we recommend that your water be not as hot as for the darker teas, and please think about a shorter steeping time depending on taste and serving size. 150°-170°F is the best steeping tempeture so as not to burn the gentle leaves. White tea also is better enjoyed in a china or porcelain cup rather than a thicker-walled ceramic cup.
